Starting 1 December 2012 CGT Cold Gas Technology GmbH will be represented by a new managing director. Mr. Rolf Philipp will take over the shares as well as the responsibility as managing director from Mr. Peter Richter, who will retire due to health reasons after 10 years with CGT.

The KINETIKS series – cold spray systems by CGT – has now been extended by the small transportable system KINETIKS 2000. It operates according to the same principle as the larger, more high-performance systems, i.e. powder injection in the converging section of the nozzle, and likewise utilizes fluid mechanically optimized nozzles. Using copper as the spray material combined with a D-24 nozzle and a spray rate of 1.5 kg/h, a deposition efficiency (DE) of up to 70 % can be achieved..
As a flexible, easy-to-handle system, KINETIKS 2000 fulfils stringent CE safety standards. It is particularly suitable for applications involving mobile corrosion protection, small surface-area repairs and the repair of cast parts. Spray materials such as Cu, Al, Zn, Sn and solders can be processed extremely well.
